Hodder & Stoughton double win at the Book Marketing Society Awards03/03/2010

Hodder & Stoughton are delighted and very proud to announce that they have won two awards from the Book Marketing Society last night.  Chris Cleave's The Other Hand won the inaugural award for Best Blurb and Under the Dome by Stephen King was awarded the Best Marketing Campaign for Hodder's ingenious treasure hunt campaign.

The Book Marketing Society Marketing Campaign Awards are judged by a panel consisting of Jo Howard (BMS Chair), Jeremy Lee (Marketing Magazine), Alastair Giles (BMS Secretary), Jo Henry (BMS Executive Director) and Dominic Gettins (EuroRSCG).

The Society was launched in November 2004 with the objective of becoming the representative body of marketing within the book industry. It is committed to promoting excellence in book trade marketing, sponsoring and running the Book Marketing Society Awards scheme to reward the best marketing campaigns throughout the year.

The winners of the Triannual Awards are automatically forwarded for submission to the annual British Books Trade Marketing Award held at the BA Conference each Spring.
