Thomas Abraham named Managing Director, Hachette Book Publishing India01/08/2007
Hachette Livre UK is delighted to announce that Thomas Abraham has been appointed Managing Director of its new Indian business, Hachette Book Publishing India.
Thomas Abraham is currently CEO and President of Penguin Books India. He will join the newly formed Hachette Book Publishing India in mid-September.
Thomas Abraham commented, “These are exciting times in India and Hachette has an energy that will make a difference to the publishing scene in the country. I am thrilled at the prospect of this new role which involves setting up and building Hachette Book Publishing India with its wonderful constituent imprints and brands”.
