Subject Editor, International (10 month fixed term contract) - Hodder Education: Schools Division
The Schools Division of Hodder Education has an exciting opportunity for a Subject Editor to join its International team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. The International team publishes across subjects such as Science, Maths and English for the International schools market as well as for local curricula in territories such as the Caribbean and Africa.
Job responsibilities include all aspects of the editorial process from manuscript handover to published print or digital product. You will need proven project-managing and proof-reading skills, outstanding organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail. You should enjoy liaising with authors, freelancers and the in-house design and production departments on a day-to-day basis and have the ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree (Science, Maths or English) and proven experience of working within a secondary school publishing environment (KS3 to A level) on a variety of print and digital products.
