Key Accounts Manager - Philips, Octopus Publishing Group
Octopus Publishing Group, part of Hachette Livre, the UK’s largest publisher, requires a Key Accounts Manager for Philip’s to sell our award winning range of atlases and street atlases.
Reporting to the UK Trade Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
- meeting sales targets by selling to Key Accounts customers at head office and creating customer marketing activities
- your own sales budget, providing information to support the decision-making process in acquisitions
- maintaining your own awareness of our product range, competitors and the market place and working closely with Philip’s Publishing team in order to sell effectively
- liaising with the Customer Service Department and Telesales to ensure client/product information is updated.
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum A level, graduate preferred
- 3 years’ sales experience
- Understanding of publishing process and product knowledge
- Understanding of market and corporate customers
